At 10:00 a.m. local time on July 15, a delegation headed by Luo Juan, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, also inspected the South China Fisheries (Samoa) Co., Ltd. of our base in Samoa after completing a project inspection of the local hospital. Directed by base manager Dong Wenyan, Deputy base manager and operation manager Wang Hao presided over the reception meeting and made a detailed report to the leaders, mainly summed up as follows:
1. The deputy chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress was warmly welcomed by Lianhe and South China Ocean Fishery Co., Ltd. to inspect and guide the work at the base.
2. Broadcasts our company's propaganda film to each leader, and introduced our company general situation, the scale, the fleet management, the product and the logistics partner and so on.
3. The development of our company's frozen fleet stationed in the South Pacific Ocean since 2010, developed into a fishing ground with the Cook Islands as the main fishing ground and Apia as the main base, as well as the current operation of Apia are reported.
4. Reporting the following wharf development projects of our company, including new cold storage, leasing oil tanks, setting up ice factories and so on.
During the meeting, Deputy Director Luo and his colleagues listened in detail to our company's operation mode of longline fishing, as well as the operation process of offshore production, fish freshness preservation and arrival at port. Deputy Director Luo said that ocean fishing is a tough industry and fishing for other countries'resources is of great significance to the country. He also hoped that overseas enterprises would contribute to the country and at the same time strive for the well-being of the local people. This idea coincides with the idea of our director. As for the promotion of the wharf development project, the leaders of the line indicated that they could seek help from the embassy and write to the provincial and foreign offices to explain the situation.
At the end of the meeting, Luo's deputy director and his wife ate the sashimi, which was carefully prepared by the base.
Around 11:30, the official group left the base office and inspected Chen Ningbo company.
